I agree with you but for one thing - there is drunken debauchery there too in the evenings if you want it. Man, those guides can drink and be a laugh if you stay on their good side!

I saw a home-made brief video of two farang visiting, and later frollicking with 2 N.Korean guides, a man and a woman. the male guide was treating his guests to a barbecue. He put some potatoes on the ground, sprinkled kerosene on them, and dropped a match. Voila, slightly cooked potatoes. Thankfully, there was enough beer to disguise the kerosene taste.

N.Korea today is the opposite of the hippie movement in the 1960's in the US. Perhaps one exception: they both did drugs. The hippies had pot and LSD, the N.Korean hi-so have cognac.

I'd like to take some cute petit N.Korean ladies to Burning Man in Nevada, just to see their reactions to all the sights and sounds. ....well maybe for some other reasons.
