Rajab Al Zarahni
Indeed these wonderful nuts are for sale at Central Pattaya Beach in a nut section in the baked goods area. I wasn't aware of that nut section before. I know of their other nut section in the main aisles which doesn't have Brazils. The cost is 800 per kilo and happily available in different sizes for the same rate. It works out to about 3 baht per scrumptious nut. As I only require the ONE nut per day, I am a happy nut eater. Friendship hasn't restocked their Brazils and I no longer see a blank section for them. Speaking of wanted items ... any leads on fresh JALAPENO peppers? The Royal Projects market used to carry them but not lately. I hope you can purchase them in quantities of less than a kilo as they will go rancid if kept for a long period. Guderian
I find them a bit bland on their own, especially the ones sold here in Thailand for some reason. Instead I import the dark chocolate coated version from Britain - yum, yum!
