Internet shop raided for servicing online casino

PATTAYA:--Pattaya police on Wednesday raided an internet shop in Chon Buri's Bang Lamung district which was used as a front of online casino and football gambling.

Somsak Kampa, 37, owner of the shop was detained for further questioning. The Easy Shop is in Soi Bongkot 5 in Tambon Nong Prue. Acting on a tip-off, police raided the shop at 1.30am and found five customers were allegedly gambling online.

Police ordered closure of the shop pending investigation.

Police Raid Internet Gambling Café in Pattaya

PATTAYA – July 9, 2014 [PDN];- at 01.30 am. Pol.Lt.Col.Suppatee Boonkrong-acting superintendent of Pattaya police station-was accompanied with Pol.Lt.Col.Kwanpichai Manocharoenpan-deputy superintendent- who led a team to inspect the Easy Net internet café in Pattaya Tai. After they were informed that a café had opened an online casino without permission.

Upon inspecting the internet café the police found 5 gamblers (4 women and 1 man) who were gambling via G Club. The police arrested them and Mr Somsak Kampa the 37 year old the café owner.

Mr Somsak confessed that he had opened an online casino. The gamblers needed to register on the internet by opening an account then the gamblers would be given a personal password to log in so they could start gambling. He also added the gambling was only for VIP customer
