Unfortunately it,s all to late for the 14% of Thai citizens that are completly illiterate.

Any reforms now will take at least 5 years to come into fruition where results will be seen in the classrooms.

But lets get, and maintain the reforms first.

Of course, somehow, they have been diddling the numbers for years which show Thailand has a world class literacy rate of 99%+ or something. At the end of the day, until they start to embrace the fact of getting true statistics about the performance and then embracing the issue and trying to solve it, NOTHING is going to change. It doesn't matter what the results in Thailand state, overall the Thai education system is just horrible.
