Think about the athletes. Such venues can be the crowning parts of their careers. And the fans, all over. I was in Tachilek recently, and several tea houses are showing re-runs of the matches (full time, not highlights) sun to sun. There will always be political posturing. Let those who live by newsprint go and bury themselves in a pile of crumpled newspapers.

Maybe it is. Maybe it isn't. Probably you're right but given Putin's behavior, it seems to me worth talking about now in light of other sanctions against Putin's Russia.
