PATTAYA: -- Acting on information received from a member of the public, Pattaya Police arrested a 38 year old man in the early hours of Tuesday who was caught in possession of a variety of firearms, gun parts and a large bag of the class 5 drug Marijuana.

Police have been searching for Khun Cherchat for some time and tracked him down to a Coach Park in Soi Tamnan in East Pattaya on Tuesday.

Inside his coach was a bag of Marijuana containing 11.15g of the drug and a variety of pistols, rifles and gun parts. He was escorted to Pattaya Police Station where Police Colonel Supatee, the Acting Superintendent of Pattaya Police Station, announced to the gathered media that the suspect had previously purchased BB Guns and parts for BB Guns and thanks to the internet was able to convert the non-lethal firearms into lethal weapons.

Obviously the Drug Dealing 'Crackdown' is working

The 'Crackdown' on illegal Firearms is also well underway.

Guess this case is a Double Whammy

Hey Rim ...How come the 'Pose' and not the 'Point'? is it because of the small amount of 'Grass'?

"a bag of Marijuana containing 11.15g of the drug" and they call this "a large bag"? That is less than half an oz. Nothing to flip one's "lid" over. Converted BB guns? C'mon we can do much better than this, can't we?

announced to the gathered media that the suspect had previously purchased BB Guns and parts for BB Guns and thanks to the internet was able to convert the non-lethal firearms into lethal weapons. The weapons would then be sold via internet forums

Lethal weapons, glad they and he is off the streets.

and is not a bus driver high on weed potentially a "weapon of mass destruction"?

The bag of weed, to be fair, is barely anything to bother about but the guns surely are. Doesn't matter how they were assembled. And do you want your bus drivers driving around with a bag of pot and guns?

I have no qualms about smoking weed but I wouldn't do it at work. Bad enough with meth fuelled bus drivers on the loose, let alone stoned bus drivers. At least the meth drivers will stay awake............

WOW!!! 11.5 Grams of weed - Break out a Press Conference !?

You must have missed the bit about the alleged firearms offences.
