Old beer Singh, two months, kept unrefrigerated is ghastly, spit out trash.
Just tried from local Mom; no Pop, four months old and down the gutter it went!

Yes, I had the same experience.

When they went from the old (large bottle) to the smaller bottle, I found a Ma and Pa Shop who still had the bigger bottles.

I bought a couple.

Just rubbish as you described.

I forced it down (Scottish Blood).

It was disappointing because I like Beer Singha.

First of all: It is brave that you forced it down. But what I can't understand is how can you like Beer Singha?

Even when it is OK, it is a low quality beer.

What is so hard to understand about someone liking the taste of something?

I quite like the taste of Singha, but it tends to give me a bit of a head the next day, so I tend to avoid it. The best for me is Chang Draught (in bottles???). Nice taste and no thick head the next day.

Oddly Beer Singha is still sold in supermarkets in Scotland in 630ml bottles. It is the best of a poor bunch.

Beer doesn't do well when it gets to warm/hot, as in transit here. it also doesn't do well to get warm, cold, warm, cold, power cuts cause a lot of the hot cold problems.

Most beer trucks, storage in the U.S. is now in referegerated trucks, especially in warmer area of the country.

Please no comments on US beer.

Money is delivered in a covered pickup truck, so why protect beer from the heat.

I remember when stationed in the Phillipeans "Red Hat", San Megale Beer.

it was preserved with "phenol" added, worked, but one hell of a hang over, headache was a killer.

Served in an A/C bar so cold it turned to "slush" when poured in to a glass, you could dring a lot of those when the outside temperature was 100F.
