Sales of SME products will be expanded in China, Hong Kong and France

The Public-Private Partnership (PPP) will bring small-and medium entrepreneurs in the fruit sector to expand their markets in China and Hong Kong in the middle of this month.

Nipon Surapongrakcharoen (นิพนธ์ สุรพงษ์รักเจริญ), deputy chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), said the delegation, comprising entrepreneurs selected from among 60 small-and-medium enterprises, will be headed by caretaker Commerce Minister Somkid Jatusripitak.

Mr. Nipon said another delegation will travel to France in September to negotiate for the display and distribution of SME products in large department stores in that country.

Assistant to the Commerce Ministry Suwit Mesinsee (สุวิทย์ เมษิณทรีย์) said PPP will appoint a policy committee and a working panel responsible for increasing the ability of SMEs, setting up technology-based training systems and providing SMEs access to financial sources.
