The rogue state, which is no stranger to outlandish claims, has revealed it plans to publish the truth about human rights in a “rosy” report. North Korea’s Association for Human Rights Studies said the report would counter the “lies and fabrications” put around by unspecified “hostile forces”. Pyongyang said the report would help people “do away with their prejudice and misunderstanding” about the rights situation, Al-Jazeera reported. “The report will show the true picture of the people of the (North) dynamically advancing towards a brighter and rosy future,” a spokesman for the organisation said.
