Caught her out with an IP trace

3 years this month I have known her. Met her on her birthday. Had 2 1/2 great years together until I had to come home for personal reasons at the beginning of this year. It was my belief she was running a shop, her own shop up in Issan.

I met her parents and family twice. Her parents are great. I took them out for a meal and mother hugged me as they left to go home. She came back and hugged me again!!

We talked every day on the phone. She told me mother was unhappy about her crying because she missed me. Told me about family. Never once asked me for money. Told me the shop was doing great.

She is (was) caring, great sex life, great nights out. A wonderful kisser, affectionate. Mid 30's age. Knew no English when I met her.

Yet, something nagged at me. I don't know what it was really, maybe an accumulation of small things. I began to doubt her.

I asked for and received photos of her in the shop on the same day I asked. Twice! That countered my doubts. I got un-requested photos of her and family on special occasions. All send via MMS over the phone.

For her mothers birthday I wanted to send some cash.

Something made me ask for her bank details again via an e-mail. I got the details. I then sent 5,000 Baht for her mother.

Still something nagged and I began to ponder if she was as good and honest as she seemed. Small inconsistencies plus I have not spoken to mother or her sister at all and that is unusual. Odd sounds I heard on the phone - all of which had plausible reasons. She started not answering at usual call times. All these little things all added up.

The idea came to me to do an IP trace and WHOIS on the last e-mail she sent. (She had someone send it because she is not computer literate at all). The IP trace came back as Rayong. Rayong is a long way from Issan where she is supposed to be. I checked the IP trace on different sites.

I did a check on the name of the sender with several sites too. ALL said the sender was located on Beach Road in Pattaya ! No other person with the same e-mail that I could find.

Next, I found another e-mail from her that was sent a few months ago. That also checked out as Pattaya too.

Then I made the phone call. I told her I know she is in Pattaya, not in her place in Issan.

She replied that she had arrived in Pattaya the day before. I told her I had checked the e-mails and know she had been in Pattaya for months.

Silence followed on the phone. She hung up.

Yet I am happy now I have laid my nagging doubts to rest before I get back to Thailand and carried on the relationship in ignorance. No need to purchase the gifts I was going to buy for her and family too.

Now the messages come through thick and fast talking of love and wanting to see me. No chance of that.
