Why no factory warranty on 1-2 years old cars sold in car shops in Thailand?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Im just curious, most big car companies like Mitsubishi, toyota, honda, all offer 3 years warranty on new cars.

therefore I assumed if i find a nice second hand Mitsubishi pajero made in 2013-2014, will have at least 1-2 years warranty left from Mitsubishi thailand.

i called up at least 4-5 second hand car shops, all advertising nearly new pajeros. but when i asked about factory warranty, they all said: no have sir...

so why not have? is anybody have any experience with this?

thank you for any info...

I think a misunderstanding. They are not giving any warranty, but the factory warranty should still be valid.

My warranty on my 2nd hand truck was transferred to me no problem.

Warranty is always passed on with the vehicle.

Obvious miscommunication.

Unless the speedo reading does not match the service recordsgiggle.gif

The warranty is either 3 years OR 50,000 km (?) which ever comes. These are high mileage vehicles or the speedometers have been rolled back. No warranty.

Yes, I had a one year old Nissan and before buying it Nissan Dealership said they'd continue the factory warranty.

maybe they are ting about something....age or whatever....

Does it really matter how old Warlock is? His money is as good as anyone elses.
