BANGKOK, 19 August 2014 (NNT) - According to the National Energy Policy Council (NEPC) resolution, PTT Plc. has to spin off its natural-gas-transmission business and set up a subsidiary to run its pipelines in order to provide fair gas transmission.

NCPO spokesman Col Winthai Suvaree has clarified that the action aims to reduce dominance and determine a fair service fee. It is believed that it will provide utmost benefits for nation and the gas-pipeline subsidiary would not be privatized.
