I didn't see the option of " a nice money spinner for the old Patong power family that sucked out millions from the place".

There are sea turtle and dolphin statures all along Patong Beach and Loma (Dolphin) Park.

Thailand's efforts at saving these creatures needs to matched their efforts at immortalizing them in stone, marble and ceramic, or that will all our children will ever know of them.

Yet the road around it is bumpy and full of loose drain grates.
