CeltNYC Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Hi all, thanks for advice on earlier threads, much appreciated. With that said I'd like to ask if anyone knows any good babysitters in Kamala? Our pals in Chalong get 100 baht an hour for their babysitting. So far here in Kamala we have one very expensive one who sat our child for 250 baht before 10 pm and 450 baht an hour after 10 pm. A Saturday night out was over 2,000 baht and that's just insane. If anyone knows a reliable and less expensive option in Kamala then that would be terrific. We just need this from time to time, especially on Weekends. Most of the other other options we looked at wanted a live-in situation. Thanks!
CiaranO Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 The price shouldn't come into it when it comes to the safety and security of your child. The lady that charged you 2000 where you happy with her work ?
PattayaPhom Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 (edited) Considering most babysitters would be female and needing to return home in the early hours a taxi would be required. 2,000 insane......not quite Edited August 24, 2014 by PattayaPhom

The lady that charged you 2000 where you happy with her work ? Your first line is sanctimonious and nonsensical unless you believe our pals in Chalong who pay 100 baht are unhappy with their babysitters work and have unsafe sitters. Clearly we know there are sitters who are just as safe and secure as our vastly more expensive sitter. We just want to know which ones are similar to these Chalong sitters but work in Kamala. At least Richard's post was helpful as usual. Thank you Richard.
