John Dykes et al.

After years of having to paste an opaque banner across the bottom of the TV screen, to avoid seeing scores of ongoing matches, I was pleased to note that

now a brief warning appears, so we can avert our eyes if we wish.

BUT..now immediately after the final whistle, Mr. Dykes excitedly gives and shows us results and details without any warning.

Some commentators also tend to give out results of previous matches, on the same day. they would be pleased to know I switch off the sound.

Do spectators need a constant telling of what is happening before their eyes and hstory lessons ?

I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like to watch matches reshown without knowing the results.

No doubt Mr.Dykes is only doing what the producers want.

I have tried to email him, but he only has twitter etc.

I must get out pen and paper I guess. I doubt if it will make any difference, So I will need to be extra vigilant to turn off TV immi after final whistle/s.

BTW has anyone ever found a CTH channel which shows match schedules ? I have cancelled mine in favour of the "everydayoftheweek" system

but they still have not responded or collected their box so I still try to use it..sometimes.
