mike111
I need to get from Jomtien to the LO, with either motorbikes/baht buses, and I dont want to pay arms and legs. Of course I can get a motorbike taxi from Jomtien, but that would be dear. Whats the best approach? maybe a baht bus from Jomtien to somewhere on 2nd road and then a motorbike taxi to the LO? Cheers
LennyW
You could always walk, turn off Theprasit road at the 7/11 about half way down follow the road round by the Eden hotel, Caddyshack, and you are there.
guzzi850m2
Well if you have any business to do at the land office I am sure you can afford a motor bike taxi. Tops 100 baht.

That was my thought, he could take the baht bus on Thepprasit and then walk.

ThaiBob
Thepprasit Soi 8. Clearly shown on Google maps.

Guderian
Get off the Baht bus at Thepprasit Soi 10 and walk from there - it's quicker than going up to Soi 8 as you'd just have to walk back past where soi 10 meets soi 8.
khunjamesjohnson
I don't think a motorbike taxi will cost an arm and a leg. LOL
smutcakes
I am deeply concerned that you have 'business' to attend to at the LO, but you need to ask advice on getting their from Jomtien!
mike111
Tnx for those who posted helpful suggestions. The motorbike taxi door to door was 60baht. I imagines it would be a lot more. Cheers
Albertosez
Mike - if you don't know the approx cost of a motorbike taxi from Jomtien to the LO then I shouldn't be making any hasty decisions about property if I was you. It sounds like you have just " landed ".....so take a few more baht bus and taxi rides before spending your arms and legs !!
