BANGKOK: -- As services offering to do homework for students in exchange for their small allowance flood the internet, the Ministry of Education’s request for a blanket ban has been denied by nation’s watchers on the digital wall.

After finding about 1.5 million links related to homework services, education officials were told by the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology it would not block sites without a police report from citizens.

Searching Google with various "homework services" keywords such as research, thesis and report writing services, turned up some 1.5 million results, prompting the mass-blocking request from education permanent minister Sutthasi Wongsamarn.

But despite its reputation as a willing censor, MICT cited a need for due process, saying it won’t take action until someone first files a complaint with police and a site is found guilty of violating the Computer Crimes Act, Morning News reported.

What is wrong with that.

Free market economist call this: Demand & Supply.

Go to read your Adam Smith: Wealth of nation.

A good teacher would recognize it and let the student repeat parts of his homework in the class.

But well Thailand and good teacher.....

You are seriously asking what is wrong with that?

You just hit the nail on the head, methinks.

By the way, had your education been better, you may have learned what plural means.....

Personally, if I were running a business I would employ anyone fitting the profile I am looking for: this employee would be kept on the job on a merit basis....regardless of where they were educated

You might be surprised to know that some locally "badly" educated people are smarter than some PHD collected abroad
