Twenty Myanmar nationals, including seven juveniles, who had been detained in Malaysia since early July after more than 50 passengers on their flight were found to have fake visas finally returned home on September 1.

The seven juveniles and one elderly person had fake visas, while the remaining 12 had genuine visas but had been detained for two months as witnesses in a trial against the three travel agents who allegedly provided fraudulent visas to 52 passengers on the flight.
