UK Passport expiry with multi entry visa
Plan B (assuming that you have a re-entry permit when you refer to 'multiple entry'):- Just renew your passport in the UK, you will be there long enough. Then you just need to carry both passports - one, the new one, the second the old one with the extension/reentry permit in. Get the details transferred to your new passport when you get back. -

Just happened to me.
It's not really the point. The point is the UK is getting more and more repressive. Including the new " Banter Bill" just passed by the HOL. It's a draconian bill which will limit freedom of speech in public places and workplaces including pubs, bars, and restaurants. This bill will require employer to "police" their own establishment for fear that a member of staff may "take offense" at some he/she hears. It heralds the crushing of free speech. -

UK Passport expiry with multi entry visa
When you go "home" get a new passport. You will keep your old one and the extension/re-entry will still be valid on your return. It will be far easier/cheaper to renew your passport in the UK than doing it through VFS.
