What return date should you choose for a triple entry visa

For examples should it be like this - Arrive 1st of December, Return 1st of September ( 9months) ?

Would appreciate any advice from people that have used triple entry visa in the past

Not sure of how it works when it comes to the date the return flight should be booked

Your last day from a 3 entry tourist visa would depend upon how long before your departure date you get your visa. The 6 month validity starts on the date it is issued.

If you got your visa 10 days before leaving the most you could get from the visa would be about 260 days because the enter before date for using the 3rd entry would be 10 days less than 6 months from the date you enter.

Theoretically, the Thai consulates are supposed to use months when determining the "enter before" date of a visa, but some consulates may sometimes use days, ie 90 days instead of three months, 180 days instead of six months.
