aussieinphuket
Well what a sight for sore eyes. i went for a drive yesterday to see what they actually did to remove and how the clean up was going where Lotus restaurant once stood... WOW the beach looks fantastic, there were still about 4 guys walking around with big bags going through the sand removing debris.... if this is representative of how all beach will look once illegal structures are demolished and cleaned up Phuket beaches will look lovely again... now for Naithon, needs a big big clean up like they have done at Bangtao and Lotus area... same for Naiyang... though at Naiyang as some buildings still standing on the beach like Surin i assume they have given them a time limit and once exceeded will go and and clean out and clean beaches up... we can only hope they will put the same effort in a s they have done at Bangtao/Lotus.. excellent work..
