Can anyone tell me if this border crossing is open for 90 day in/out for Non Imm O Visa . Sick of travelling to Mae Sot and having to cope with all the idiots driving over the mountains . Dont have to go again till December but would be nice to know i dont have to drive so far for 10 minutes of getting stamps in my passport .

It has been a while since the last post about that crossing. But at that point it was only for Thai - Laotian nationals and haven't heard this changed.

I would definatly call immigration before trying that crossing.

It does not appear as a crossing shown here: http://www.laos-guide-999.com/Laos-border.html

Perhaps Chiang Kong would be a good crossing for you.
