KhonJaiYen
Members I have an extension based on marriage which expires on the 4th October, but recently I have taken a job abroad so I have no intention of renewing this extension. Anyway, I have just entered the country for a 2 week holiday and was hoping that I would get a 'visa on entry' for the 2 weeks, I'm going back on the 10th October, but when the immigration officer saw the re-entry stamp he said he couldn't issue another visa because this visa is still valid. My question is this, can I get another extension to this visa for the remainder of my holiday or will I have to exit and enter the country on the 4th? ubonjoe
You could apply for a 60 day extension to visit you wife. She will need to go with you when you apply. You will need your marriage certificate (plus a copy), copies your wife's house book and ID card.

KhonJaiYen
Happy conclusion, I went to CM immigration today and they extended my visa by 7 days so I will not overstay or have to leave the country. I have to say, very friendly officers who were very professional and happy to help even though they are working in very hot, cramped conditions.
