iancnx Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 What is the average price please. 2 adults and a toddler. Hoping Krabi taxis are better than the Phuket experience. Any personal recommendations would be appreciated. Only proviso is a safe driver and we get to destination alive and no injuries. Thanks.
Seligne2 Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 There is a clearly marked bus that goes at least hourly from the airport to Ao Nang. 60 baht. 2
rayinkrabi Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Good advice from Seligne2, I often see these white airport bus's on the road and am always impressed by the driving...exactly the opposite for all taxis I see and I certainly would never trust a taxi 'driver' here with my family!
klongmuang Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 The airport shuttle bus to Ao Nang is 150 Baht/Pax (not 60) and a taxi is 600 Baht/vehicle. The bus will stop at any resort on request.
tw25rw Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Mine was 600b a year ago today.. And 500b to go back. Both very nice new cars too.

torrow Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 If it is this one, I use to go to Lotus. Very good
mancub Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 Airport bus is great if you're travelling alone or without much luggage, but can become a hassle if it's full- what with all the bags piled up at the front and stopping in Krabi town to offload folk at the tour office. For 2 adults and a child much easier and quicker to take the taxi , which although annoyingly expensive, seem to be new vehicles with responsible drivers.
Tokay Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 Don't fall for the trick if they stop at an office and say that is where you meet for another ride to go to the boats. That is a scam. Take your bus/van all the way.
chris2004 Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 Depends on how long your trip is. For a few days i found it almost as cheap to hire a car from the airport than take the taxis and a couple of excursions from Aonang.
changnaam Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 Try Krabi shuttle. New cars, have car seats for the kids, and very sensible drivers. We had a great service from them when used recently, sorry forget the price.

taninthai Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 http://www.krabiairportonline.com/car-rental about 1000bht a day for 4 days for a small car pretty good prices really.
Tham1 Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 If it is this one, I use to go to Lotus. Very good They are not good, the things are ancient hot and piled full of luggage at the front, absolute crap. operated by ignorant zombies
torrow Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 If it is this one, I use to go to Lotus. Very good They are not good, the things are ancient hot and piled full of luggage at the front, absolute crap. operated by ignorant zombies We fly regularly from Krabi and use this bus all the time (and sometimes to Lotus). Never had a problem. Sure there is a pile of luggage at the front: most folks are flying and the luggage has to go somewhere. At least you can see your case. Aircon is good too. Guess you had a bad experience.

I live in Ao-Nang and see these idiots driving Every day, they seem to think they own the roads, and that it's their own personal race track, even driving through red lights, absolutely crazy.
