Becarful, they might conspire with the Southern Thugs and Mafia in the tourists areas in the South like samui, Koh Phangan, Kao Tao , Phuket etc to conduct human tests on unsuspecting drunk or drugged foreigners etc besides the poor illegal workers like Myanmar, Cambodia etc.

Vaccines do not CURE disease - they PREVENT disease. Even their announcement is not correct.

Hold it - there are vaccines that cure diseases. The key part is to introduce into the body a substance that helps in the generation of antibodies. It is not substantially different whether or not the disease is already present.

Guess they missed this article from 2012:

http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/potential-ebola-treatment-shows-promise-winnipeg-lab-says-1.1127883

Or this article from August 2014:

http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/national/experimental-ebola-drug-based-on-research-from-canadas-national-lab/article19911181/

And this more recent one from last week:

http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/how-a-winnipeg-lab-became-an-ebola-research-powerhouse-1.2773397

"What research? Well, there's ZMapp, the most promising of the current experimental treatments. There's also an Ebola vaccine that may be useful both to prevent infection and stop it in its tracks, if given shortly after exposure. And a mobile diagnostic lab that has changed the way outbreak testing is done."

So far there are vaccines in development from the Brits, the Yanks, the Canucks and France. Any advance in treatment from Thailand would be welcomed but this appears to sound like an anti-viral therapy rather than a vaccine. If that is the case, it must be a test tube treatment because they don't have any patients ( let alone trials). Very good hospital but a truly odd announcement

lets hope this isnt like the announcement that they know who the killers on KT are, somehow I have great reservations about releases like this in Thailand. They usually turn out as something totally different but in this case I really hope not.

At least they didn't say they had 85% of the cure...............................coffee1.gif

How do they know they've got a cure? It's not as if Thailand has a hundred Ebola patients they've been able to test a vaccine on. How have they tested it? It might be an idea for the Siriraj to read this http://www.naturalnews.com/047016_Ebola_treatments_warning_letters_unproven_cures.html The FDA is going to prosecute companies claiming to have natural cures for Ebola with no data to support the claim

Like their claim that they developed a new heart valve a few months ago, only for me to read that the exact valve have been patented in my home country by a reputable hospital. They however patented in all the developed countries of which Thailand is not one and what does the sharks do they claim they have developed it in their BKK hospital.
