You do realize that your car, would not be the only car they would be repairing,

they would have had a queue of cars waiting, and 10 days is about normal.

regards Worgeordie

^^^^^

where are u coming from????

my o/p clearly says that i have accepted the ten day time frame to repair my car

i only asked the board if this was the norm, and it has been confirmed, this is so (happy dayssmile.png )

with respect, u must be a boring old soul

Like i said 10 days was about normal, which is what you asked.

Please don't respect me,you don't know me,and i come from Newcastle (the original one)

regards Worgeordie

yes agreed that u have posted 10 days was the norm

but why preamble about my panel shop etc etc???

i have accepted the panel shop to do the repairs, so why all the preambling, when u have no idea on how they operate their business

just wild misleading assumptions by u..fullstop

Hi Even, why do you take exception to my reply ,when i was only

stating the obvious, all panel beating shops of any worth are always

full of work, (Thai drivers), so there was NO chance even you could

get a repair done in one day, even if thats what it takes in Oz,

Preambling ?? , not wild misleading assumptions,the facts,and i do know

very well how panel beating shops in Thailand work.

Better stop preambling, as i have something much more important to do.

hope your car got fixed to your satisfaction, thats it end of story.

regards worgeordie

Is "ks" the actual accepted abbreviation for kilometers in any country? Just curious.

I just say - klicks. But the correct abbreviation would be km...

If the OP's insurance company was as good as he thinks it is, they would have taken care of Everything and he would have had no reason to post.

i was only asking members advice on the time frame at the panel shop etc etc (please read again)

this was nicely adressed by a number members and greatly appreciated by e/s

so bill97, that was the very reason i started the thread,

really u are a million miles away from reality,

but

Is it within the realm of possibility that someone could own a Mercedes Benz and not be able to spell it?

No offence meant. Just curious.

I work with guys offshore that can hardly spell and they can all afford Benz, BMW, etc. Careful with the bone pointing.

evenstebvens...being an ex panel beater 2 weeks in a shop for a big hit is normal, 6 weeks not too far fetched if mechanical damage as well. Just sayin

gidday daam naam

cobber, the old benze mean benz, just for the spelling correction merchants, received only very minor damange across its bow

a motor bike got me near mae rim g/v golf club entrance, very happily he was going at a snails pace, and avoided any injury to himself.

the panel shop gave me very good service, in all areasbiggrin.png

in sydney, any panel shop would do the same job, perhaps a couple days at most

but this panel shop was full as a goog, it would leave the zoo immgr holding pen, for dead,it was chocker block

how they completed it in two weeks, was a great acheivement

cobber u have spelt my name wrong

but who cares , i will get oiver itsmile.png

Yes, the language is English and a few of the members have the wit to use it with distinction.

The rubes add spice and comic relief to the forum with their cryptolect, their mateship, and their prickly self-esteem.

Just as music hall and vaudeville had their "stage Irishman", a snub-nosed little bantam cock who - between pratfalls - would keep the audiences howling with laughter at their thick brogue and clueless shenanigans, Thai Visa has its "stage Antipodeans". They enliven the forum with their loquacious posts recording in detail their clownish lives as strangers in a strange land.

G'day cobbers!

Crikeys is great to see someone "gets it" from time to time.
