Re-entering Thailand after ED Visa expiry

Featured Replies

HI

My partner and I have been in Thailand almost a year now on a Non immigrant ED visa. Our visa's expire on the 25th of October but we are wanting to stay a month extra till the 25th of November.

Is it possible to leave Thailand to a nearby country on the 25th and re-enter (by air) either the same day or the next to get a 30 day automatic entry (as we are from Australia) I'm hoping there are no problems getting this automatic 30 day entry for tourism purposes even though we previously had an ED visa, especially if we are able to show our departing flight info back to Australia for November.

Thankyou

You will have no problem getting a 30 day visa exempt entry,
