Costas2008 Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Do you think it's the same man that robbed three 7/11 stores up to now?
jpeg Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Oh so what. 15000 is the amount currently being handed out to rice farmers (only), despite the reason being given for this overthrow of the 'democratically elected' past maladministration's 'populist policies'. P'raps these 7/11 robbers who seem to be increasingly reported and never existed before should take up farming rice
JOC Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 A discontent rubberfarmer, who didn't get part of the Generals handouts?? And he fled despite it was raining!! The Thai criminals are getting tuffer!!
PatOngo Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 did the note also say: i'll be back On Thursday.
JacChang Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 I wonder if he accepts coins and foreign currency.
Minnehaha Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 I feel that ways sometimes when they check my signature and it is not exactly like the signature I gave them 15 years ago. Then they show me the original one and I get to try again. I think... whats the point? Banking in Thailand is so backward, I don't blame the guy. Maybe he just forgot his "book bank" and wanted to make a withdrawal.
JeffreyO Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 I came here to shout "$300! Buy a safe, everyone!" And yet, it seems I have been beaten to the mockery.
FangFerang Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 15,000 baht? Wow. That's less than to get out of a drunk driving pullover.
Bluespunk Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 15k? That's 3 nights in Eden! I think I'd rather be robbed than spend it in that place. 1
kurnell Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 15k? That's 3 nights in Eden! I think I'd rather be robbed than spend it in that place. Perhaps Patpong 2 is more to your liking fancy pants?
cbluck58 Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 They've got it wrong again - it was not a lone Thai man but 2 Burmese migrant workers of course !
Bluespunk Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 15k? That's 3 nights in Eden!I think I'd rather be robbed than spend it in that place. Perhaps Patpong 2 is more to your liking fancy pants? Christ no. Even worse.
Greg Nixon Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 This is about $500.00 Canadian. Everyone in Canada would laugh if a bank robber would get away with only 15000 THB. Stupid robber.
englishoak Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 15k is not exactly a newsworthy robbery..... Wait until its more than you can take out by atm before headlining..................
sapson Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Must have taken some nerve or pure desperation to do it, but to walk away with only 15k baht what a let down especially as it was raining! Should have signed up with a jet ski outfit for a week or so and scammed some farangs, his share of the take would be more than 15k and absolutely no risk of prosecution!
JAG Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 15000 baht is a lot if the most you can earn is 300 a day, and then only sporadically! It is probably more cash than he has ever held in one lump.
Thai at Heart Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Wait for the sentence. They will probably give him 1 year per baht stolen. Just to show him a lesson and all.
benalibina Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Wait for the sentence. They will probably give him 1 year per baht stolen. Just to show him a lesson and all. Lets hope then his sentence is reduced by a third for good behaviour !
Lukecan Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 15000 baht is a lot if the most you can earn is 300 a day, and then only sporadically! It is probably more cash than he has ever held in one lump. No 15k baht is not a lot, even in thailand. Its the median salary.
Nemesis7 Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 15000 bhat bank robbery ? I bet the guts who robbed 7/11 since they saw nothing haooen d to them and police can't catch them so decided to do a test and trial on a bank robbery. But seriously he had gun and grenade and was happy with 15K? lol......
