Non Immigrant B 3 Months

Featured Replies

Hello,

I recently received my second 3 month Non Immigrant B Visa.

I had trouble to extend my first Non Immigrant B in Thailand at the Immigration to a 1 year Non Immigrant B. (Eventhough I got a Workpermit)

My Question is: How often or how many times could I theoretically apply for a 3 month Non Immigrant B?

Thanks, Al

That would depend upon the embassy or consulate you get them from. Some will let keep doing them for a long time,

You could go to Penang and get a multiple entry non-b visa with a work permit that is valid for 7 months and company documents.

I have just returned from Penang in a quest for a multi-entry non-immigrant B visa. I had all of the necessary paperwork but they would only give me a single entry as my work permit expires in less than 90 days.

My job will last longer than the 90 days left on my work permit but Immigration in Bangkok is taking forever to extend my work permit so Penang would not give me the multi-entry.

A big expense to not succeed in my quest and another out-of-country-trip in 90 days. At least I get to travel around Asia at my company's expense!

It has been posted many times on this forum that at least 7 months is needed to get the multiple entry visa.

If you are waiting for immigration to do your work permit you will be waiting forever. Work permits are done by the Labor Ministry.
