stevenl
Sorry Paz, but no. 6 months passport validity as a flight requirement is not unreasonable since many countries have that entry requirement. And how can it be breach of contract, this requirement is clearly written in the contract. Not Thailand and not all countries. That is what you fail to understand. You fail to understand one thing. There are flight requirements and entry requirements to countries. Airlines in general require people to have all required paperwork so they can enter their destination country, so they meet the entry requirements. But there are also requirements an airline can set to fly with them, like AA does regarding passport validity. Nothing to do with a country's entry requirements. The airline set their requirement for travel documents according to countries requirements, for example as mentioned many countries have a minimum passport validity for example. It is intended by anyone with a modicum of intellect that these requirements are for foreigners. But, when the airline "requirements" are negating what one country requires as in this case about their own citizens, they become moot and nil, and will expose the airline to damaging legal action if enforced.
