Hi All:

I have just received the certified document from my embassy that I have not/am not married in english.

Can I get it translated to Thai and certified at Chang Wattana? Is it in the same building?

what are the translation costs and are there any other charges?
Thanks

You can get it all done at MFA consular affairs department at Chaeng Wattana but may take 3 trips to do it. Not sure what there fees are. Info in Thai here: http://www.consular.go.th/main/th/services/21872-%E0%B8%A3%E0%B8%B2%E0%B8%A2%E0%B8%A5%E0%B8%B0%E0%B9%80%E0%B8%AD%E0%B8%B5%E0%B8%A2%E0%B8%94%E0%B8%82%E0%B8%B1%E0%B9%89%E0%B8%99%E0%B8%95%E0%B8%AD%E0%B8%99%E0%B8%81%E0%B8%B2%E0%B8%A3%E0%B8%A3%E0%B8%B1%E0%B8%9A%E0%B8%A3%E0%B8%AD%E0%B8%87%E0%B9%80%E0%B8%AD%E0%B8%81%E0%B8%AA%E0%B8%B2%E0%B8%A3%E0%B8%A1%E0%B8%B5%E0%B8%94%E0%B8%B1%E0%B8%87%E0%B8%99%E0%B8%B5%E0%B9%89.html

You can also have the translation done at a translation service for 300 to 500 baht a page. The translation service can also get the certification done also. I can recall a person reporting that it cost them about 1800 baht for the entire thing.

Translation should be 300 or so, as ubonjoe says.

Prices from February 2014 as follows.

If you can get to CW early and get the same-day service, cost will be 800 Baht, both the affirmation and translation needed to be certified at 400 Baht each.

Normal service is 200 per document and I believe you can get them posted back to you for a small fee.

Hope you are more prepared for marriage than you seem to be for the admin wink.png
