Booking a ticket online with Bell's Bus from Swampy to Pattaya, do you need to print out the ticket or will the booking reference number only do?

Thanks

I have used Bell bus many times over the years, both going to the airport from Pattaya and going to Pattaya from the airport. I thought they were great. I would email a reservation request and they would pick me up at my hotel in Pattaya, or I would arrive at the airport, bus to pattaya and they drop off at my hotel. However, the last few years they required one to pay online. I do not use my credit card when overseas. Too many security concerns, and I am not going to jeapordize my account over a bus ticket. In addition, every email question sent to Bell has gone unanswered since the change. So when I arrive at the Airport, I typically just take the other bus company that is there. And if I am in Pattaya, I typically just make my way over to the bus station and then book with Bell. Minor inconenience, but I only travel with a simple soft carryon so catching a motorbike taxi from my hotel to the bus station is a simple matter. Sorry Bell. Used to be easier to deal with

When in Pattaya, why not just go to the Jomtien bus station and get the hourly big bus to the airport there and save 120B? I cant see the point of paying the Bell supplement if you aren't getting the door-to-door service.

No you do not need to print out the ticket. Just tell them your name and they will issue your ticket at the desk.

Thank you for the reply to my question :)

Certainly could do that. But I hear their busses frequently fill up quickly. Plus I am usually staying very close to the Pattaya North Bus station, not jomtien. Just convenience.

I see the Jomtien bus often but rarely see it completely full. They do go every hour and you can book a seat in advance (same price) if you are concerned about yours being full. I think you have to do that in person though, not by phone. I live nearby and I always walk along and buy my ticket the day before I want to travel.

The regular Pattaya/Jomtien bahtbus passes in front of the Jomtien bus stop and so it is quite convenient for anyone living near the beach in Pattaya, or in Naklua, but not so good for those near Sukumvit or beyond as you mention.
