Water and electric price per unit

Featured Replies

I know the water will be cheaper than I am paying here in my unit (box!!!) I currently live in Bangkok, 17thb a unit , but think the electric is about the same approx 5thb per unit........or am I'm wrong? Moving to a house next month, where the bills will be direct form the utility companies, so what can expect?

A bit under 5 baht per kwh after all extras are added.

A bit under 11 baht per cm after all extras are added.

These are Bangkok direct prices - but note you have posted this in Isaan forum - so if not Bangkok you should say where for local prices.

Sorry my apologies, I'm moving form BKK to Yasothon area, so what I pay in BKK in my unit at the moment is 17thb per unit for water and 7thb for electric, all in price.

Water is managed/provided by the municipality (thesaban) and varies by location.

Probably be cheaper than in Bangkok.

Here in our village its 5 Baht / unit (cubic meter).

Electricity is identical.

Paying directly from your own meter it will be below 5 Baht/kWh.

Exact price per unit depends on consumption (step tarif).

KhunBENQ, thought the electric would be similar paying direct to the company, water is still going to be cheaper than in BKK.

We use very little here, 6 to 7 units on water, use a washing here, and electric is 100 to 110 units a month, air con plays havoc with me, so little used.

Thanks for the info

3 Bedroom / 2 bath in Warin. Water around 300 b a month. Electric around 3000 a month(running AC all the time).
