In the UK, they have to be a going concern. When they run out of cash - even for a single day - they have to close the company immediately!

What's the Thai law?

Ask the agency for your money. if they still don't pay, take it up with the labour office. They will take action on your behalf.

If you want to ask about Thai bankruptcy law, ask in the lawyer section or the business section.

Dear OP,

If I were you, I'd talk to the labor department first. All provinces have a place, usually located at the city hall, where employees can make a report.

They even give you a free lawyer. I don't know if you can still get in touch with them, or if they a sort of .disappeared. Don't you know anybody else who worked/works for the same agency?
