^It makes you wonder doesn't it!

Well its just hard to believe that there isn't someone else maybe in midfield or defense that can take a reliable penalty.  Especially with the talent in the City side.

Tried it last year when Aguero missed one, so KdB took the next one (in the same match) and it was saved

TBH, I think most teams have their allotted penalty taker and it's usually for them to give it up. Yaya usually takes them as well but he obviously hasn't been playing

Seems like Aguero goes for that left corner on PKs more often than not. It'd be interesting to see the stats on that.

So mendy out for the season plus, with big injury. No left footed left back replacement - you have to question letting both clichy and Kolorov go - so we have Danilo and Delph. Danilo can cover defensively but being rightfooted not so good attacking; Delph is the other way around (though he was surprisingly solid the other night). Our promising spanish younger is out of loan at Breda. We knew we needed 2 LBs but only brought in 1. Going to miss mendy attacking and his amazing crossing, though we never got to see him defending to see how he copes.

Just go and lash out another 70m in jan......problem solved.  In reality, thats it in a nutshell.  Surely someone can fill in till then?  I remember we used Sissoko at right back when no one was really sure if he was still a footballer!!

^The transfer window is closed so problem is very much not solved. I highlighted who will fill in but were going to miss mendy linking with Sane and Silva.

So are you saying that in the entire squad theres not on single back up at right back?  Let's face it, its no even classed as a specialist position, as say left back

Being reported that Aguero's taxi in an accident and he's out for two months. When it rains it pours.

Now that is a cruel blow.

Broken ribs apparently.

Two months seems a bit OTT for a cracked rib so unless there are other injuries, I shouldn't worry too much. Anyway, solves my FPL dilemma Welcome to my team Gabriel:thumbsup:

I cracked mine once. Never felt agony like it. Couldn't sneeze or cough without whincing

Return to Play
The athlete may return to activity when he or she is able to perform activity pain-free without medication, and does not have pain when the involved rib(s) are touched. It may be in as little as three weeks

or

A doctor can also not do a great deal other than X-ray the ribs and rule out any internal damage. If it is not a severe fracture then you should be back in action from between 3 to 6 weeks so long as you rest.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Not seen any confirmation of how serious (or not) the fracture is as yet. Most reports coming from South America even though accident was in Amsterdam. Could be exaggerated?

I've got four tickets for the Liverpool game at Wembley.

Looking forward to this one with your joke of a defence.
