Clay pot and proofing basket

Hi somebody knows about a shop for ready made or custom made proofing basket ( wooden pulp , cane ) and clay pot -roemer pot in Chiang Mai ?

You're at the right place for what you want.

Pottery making and basket weaving have been practiced in this area since time out of mind.

There are many small outlets around town, but for a good selection go to the main market, Talad Warorot - or Kad Luang as the locals call it.

Another place to look would be Ban Tawai near Hang Dong.

Was today at siam celdon San kamphaeng and the road from Chiang Mai leading to it no luck they said hang dong maybe so this is the next try but seems a difficult task as expected - will keep you updated if I get lucky

Research finished the best shot I felt to have in Baan muang koong (goong) pottery village junction airport road/samoeng rd. but in the end they stick to their business concept "do the same my neighbor does and even if it is shop no.100 in the same soi. Maybe my Thai was not good enough to seed the product idea into their consideration but made to order for one pc. Was this time not feasible to them - might try it another time together with a Thai friend - so post is closed unless one of you got a splendid idea or more luck
