Pheu Thai Fully Cooperating With Junta, Former MP Assures Prayuth
By Khaosod English

BANGKOK — The former ruling Pheu Thai Party is not plotting against the military junta that ousted its government, a former Pheu Thai politician said today.

"Please rest assured that no one in the Pheu Thai Party will obstruct the workings of the government or the NCPO," said former Pheu Thai MP Somkid Cheuwong, using an acronym for the junta's National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO).

Somkid was responding to allegations made by NCPO leader and Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha that there is an "underground movement" intent on undermining the junta's grip over Thailand.

"I don't know if the Prime Minister meant Pheu Thai Party when he mentioned an underground movement," Somkid said. "If he does, I'd like to assure him not to worry. Please relax ... I'd like the government to continue their administration of the nation.

The former lawmaker also expressed confidence that the military-backed government will be able to work efficiently without any opposition to scrutinize or obstruct their works.

"I think the government will find it easier to work in this atmosphere," Somkid said.

The junta's action in taking absolute power was illegal under the existing Constitution and a number of articles under the Criminal Code. Is Pheu Thai now conceding that its performance as the legitimate government of Thailand was so bad that it justified the coup and that they are now repenting on the creation of a situation in which treason was in some way a legitimate response?

Nope, definitely not us, must be the Democrats that are planning something. Nothing to see here, move on, move on.

Actually that would make perfect sense,.... the current PM aka former army general just quick fixes some Pheu Thai violence for a fake happiness,... THEN little by little brainwashes the Nation with his so called reforms aka hidden propaganda to brain-damage the children of Thailand from top to bottom,... AFTER THAT, years later, the nation will be so brainwashed again and again, that it is no wonder that the poor and middle class majority fall for the same easy peasy populist policy hype again and again, and The Pheu Thai can take advantage again with their populist policies, and win another Election Collection....

Thaksin wins Pheu Thai acts,... everything back to normal.... and lots of wine for the general PM as a reward, sponsored from Dubai...,

Another source all;ows that the publicied meeting scheduled in India has been canceled.

It appears that Thaksin and his cronies are having a hard time finding many places that will allow them to have their meeting to plot the takeover of even the local shoeshine organization. Some countries may want to appear neutral, others may give more credence to the present government than a group of scammers who may be in a que of suspected/convicted crooks who could shortly be on the inside of the monkey house. You quarintine any one suspected of being a threat to the social order of your house, before admitting them and this group is not known for helping combat several social threats, physical and mney wise.

It must be hell to be reported as so wealthy, yet true freedom of travel seems to be somewhat limited and invitations/deals are not being bragged about by the usual suspects.

A little like Prayuth in the months leading up to the coup was quoted almost every day saying:

"No coup, no coup, no coup, no coup, no coup, no coup............................................" alt=whistling.gif>

Just wondering whether you have to keep your post count up to a certain number per day,

which seems to mean that many of your posts are a waste of cyberspace.

Is Pheu Thai now conceding that its performance as the legitimate government of Thailand was so bad that it justified the coup and that they are now repenting on the creation of a situation in which treason was in some way a legitimate response?

No.

Thaksin is again outsmarting those opposed to him.

He will simply sit back and let the military fail by themselves so that when they do fail they cannot blame it on his interference the same way that PTP can lay blame for most of their failures at the feet of the Yellows.

The current regime will wear out it's welcome and self destruct as the economy tanks and then who will ride into town to save the day.....

just one group fits the bill, Mr T and his jolly band of Reds.

Uncle T aint a saint, but he's head and shoulders above and three steps in front of the clowns opposite him.

Completely, incontrovertibly wrong. Logic stood on its head. And remember what happened to Robespierre... (spelled correctly with two 'r's, incidentally). But never mind, no doubt you intended your error.

Just your opinion, many would totally disagree.

But keep posting, at least you might convince yourself.

True, and at one stage he had a drunk as one of his main players lackies. Must be hard to get credible staff.

I don't think hes doing anything to outsmart anyone and cant do anything but wait at the moment anyway.

I do agree things will fail all on their own, eventually it will become glaringly obvious and the blame will of course lay on those responsible holding the reins at the time.

Im not so sure Thaksin will be allowed to ride back into town at all though, no matter how things go here.

Its more likely little sister will.

I do agree with the following line but id add to the end of it... Uncle T aint a saint, but he's head and shoulders above and three steps in front of the clowns opposite him."mores the pity"

Very correct that the meeting has been canceled.

But what you "forgot" to mention from the very same source: Mr T and YL didn't go to India because of a "request" from Prayuth, who is paranoid about the underground movements (the dangerous 6.7%).

Mr T and YL agreed to that, because they know in the long run, the junta is going to selfdestruct!

But , no surprise, we get a crazy anti-red-rant concluding that the Shins were not allowed to enter India!

To the usual suspects, save your mantras. They start to get boooooooring!!sad.png

:cheesy:

Yeah, Thaksin is brilliant.

His being out of Thailand for the past six years and counting has worked out splendidly for him.

Now he just needs to "sit back" for another unknown number of additional years and then he'll be in a good position.:D

He'll croak by then, but I do hope he follows your strategical advice.

Thaksin was a massively corrupt politician, but the best Thailand ever had. A booming economy and the poor got free healthcare and more education. The elderly got payments (not much, but better than nothing) and most were happy.

It even looked like Thailand may be on its way to becoming a new 'South Korea'.

Listen, I can't stand the sneaky little toad either, but name one politician who did more for Thailand? By Thailand I mean all of Thailand, of whom most are poor. Until the 'elite' can grasp the reason for his appeal, they'll never get the support of the majority. Never.

Thaksin was so fantastic, he got the whole world's economy booming.

More likely they are just waiting for the wheels to fall off. In the meantime could you explain what treasonous acts were carried out? Unless of course you mean "overthrowing the democratic regime with the King as Head of State" for actually having the gall to attempt to amend the constitution by reverting to the 1997 Constitutions' arrangement for a fully elected Senate?
