Double entry tourist visa from Savannakhet

Featured Replies

Is it possible to obtain one? Bearing in mind I have three visa exempt stamps and one single entry tourist visa in my passport already.

Thanks for your help.

Yes it's possible and your travel history doesn't matter.

As said no problem and you will get the visa on the same day you apply.

whistling.gif Yes, you very likely can.

Just be aware that it will be only for a period of 90 days not 180 days.

That means you have to use both entries in that 90 day period.

If you can deal with that, you should have no problem.

This is the case for all double-entry visas, regardless of where they are obtained, no?

Maybe Ive missed a change but isnt a double entry tourist visa 2 entries at 60 days each, plus the option to extend a further 30 days on each entry.

This would give a possible total of nearly six months about 180 days.

So this isnt the case now?

Yes but as explained above, 3 months validity means that both entries must be made within 3 months visa issuance.

The validity of the visa, (the time frame within you must make both entries), depends on the consulate you apply. In Asia a validity of only 3 months for a double entry is normal. At others a double entry is often 6 months.

So no change just as before, you must exit and return before 90 days to start the second cycle of 90 days if required, wasnt aware their had been an alernative if your visa was not issued in a neighbouring country.

90 day validity is fine, that's all I need. Thanks for your answers.
