A12341
I am wondering if it will be possible to get a visa exemption stamp at Mae Sai after my Non-immigrant (3 month) B visa expires next month. I have gotten these exentions before earlier in the year, but I'm not sure what the situation is like right now. If they do give visa exemptions, would it be 15 days or 30 days? Could anyone give me some concrete information on this? Thank you in advance! Edited October 24, 2014 by A12341
Mario2008
That will be possible, if they will deny it they will tell you before you leave Thailand. 15 or 30 days depends on your nationality. it is 15 days at land borders, but for nationals of the g7 member states it is 30 days. ubonjoe
The only restriction on getting visa exempt entries is based upon being on one at the present time. If you are on any visa entry the rules do not apply. If you are from a G7 country you will get 30 days if not it will be 15 days.
A12341
Mario2008 & ubonjoe, thank you for your replies! Very helpful to know that getting one visa exemption at the border is still possible!
