Somyod, commander of the Royal Thai Police, was observing traffic at Lat Phrao intersection this morning when the imperiled kitten prompted him to immediately halt traffic to rescue the scared lump of fur.Somyod stopped a Toyota before it could flatten the little black cat trying to cross the road, which has no kitten-friendly crossing areas. Ever heard about video cameras being available to the man in the street now? Perhaps someone filmed the incident and gave the video to whoever published it.
