I am trying to apply for a tourist visa from a Thai consulate located in my home country. (LA, USA).

I was wondering if they will require me to buy a plane ticket before applying for the tourist visa?

Just curious, since it is the Consulate that issues the visa, did it occur to you, to ask them?

There not open. Only open in mornings for like 2 hours

Only some gov.t office in my country do better than that.
