getting a taxi to pick u up at 4 am

ok so i though the taxis here ran 24/7 but i guess not been trying to get one to pick me and the misses for a trip to immigration, lol but all i have called say no ???? so any ideas or know of company that will. seems odd for a city like this. trying to set it up for tuesday

If that is your regular schedule,I would hunt for A taxi in your area who works at that time.Then get his cell number.And get another for back up.

My wife just took a taxi at 5am a few days ago.

She called 053-262-878 the night before, arranged for a 5am taxi to the airport, and was charged 300 baht.

You can always find tuk tuk drivers working 24 hours on pantip marketplace. We've done this the last 2 or 3 times we needed to get to the Airport early in the morning or late at night. About 200-250 Baht from Sansai.

No he's not joking about needing one at 4 am to go to Immigration. Depends where he lives. Fortunately, we're close to Kad Suan Kaew and you can always find a tuk tuk near Kad Suan Kaew 24 hrs/day. Maybe go to KSK in advance (but still fairly early in the day) and talk with one of them about coming to your place at 4 am on the day in question.

Everyone should go to immigration at 4am. Or 5am at the very latest.

Taxi service in Chiang Mai is definitely a problem (queue the apologists). The biggest problem is trying to find one at a fair price in situations when you may need one.

Few days ago My wife sent a girl to queue for number.

She arrived at exactly 6.30am on a Friday and got number 53 I think it was for an appointment in the afternoon.

Was she able to see the agent? They don't always get time to do 50 in a day.

She got a number a little while after arriving then a bit later exchanged it for another number.

I was told they check yr docs before exchanging numbers but that didn't happen as she only had my passport.

Well worth paying her a day's wages for an hour or two in the morning.
