hhi i have paid a visa agent in Bangkok to process my G/F application for a visitor visa

He now refuses to answer my E-mails

his secretary made arrangements for my girl to accompany her to the embassy

and she rang my G/F at midnight to cancel it

He refuses to answer the phone or emails

What can i do?

i p[aid him by paypal so i might be able to recover the money that way

Is there any honest agents as my G/F is not able to fill out the forms on her own

Thank you

Does this "agent" have an office?

The only agent I would recommend is Thai Visa Express.

Are you and/or your girlfriend going to file a police complaint. Are you confident that the online application has been submitted?

yes it is in Bangkok and my girl is 3 hours in a car away

5 hours by bus and she is not very confident of travelling on her own

Sorry but I've had to remove the details of the agent, naming and shaming can be classed as defamation and as such illegal in Thailand.

Could there be a simple reason they've cancelled the appointment?

I would nevertheless contact TVE, their details are on the forum, but bear in mind it's 18.40 here in Thailand.

We are an honest agency. But, I'm not sure how exactly we can assist at this stage when, presumably, everything has been done apart from submitting the application itself ? Has the application been submitted. Does she have an appointment with VFS to submit it ? If she has missed the appointment, and if she has access to the online application, she could just make a new appointment. If she doesn't have access to the application, then she will probably have to do a new one online.

Does the agency have all her documents ? If so, how is she going to get them back to be able to submit the application herself ?

If it is just a matter of completing the application you could do it yourself as it is an online application. You could complete it and submit it online for her.

You really need someone to go to the office and speak with them there. That's not something we can do easily, as we are based in Pattaya, not in Bangkok. Does your girlfriend know anyone in Bangkok who could do that ?

Finding out if an application has been submitted is not practical without knowing the password, etc, that was used to open the application online, and to submit the application ( if it was submitted). Again, that is something the agent will know. If you cannot get any response from the agent by phone or email, then a visit to the offices seems to be the next action.

I'm not sure how to answer that. If you travel to Bangkok, and submit a new application, then the cost is going to be far higher than the cost of submitting a new application using an agent. But, my concerns at the moment would be that there might be a reasonable explanation for what has happened, that all of the documentation is presumably with the agent, and you need it to make a new application ? If there is a reasonable explanation, then you won't have the extra costs. So, as I said, if you can get someone to go to the agency, they might be able to sort it all out for you. I certainly wouldn't suggest that your girlfriend goes there alone.

Our fees are on our website, and any initial consultation is free.

TSL & Associate (Thailand) Co., Ltd This is the ones I have used a few time and they are currently submitting my wifes latest application for her leave to remain in the UK visa at the moment and have helped get her previous visitor and marriage visas and I have found them very good and helpful
