How do you get your hit? Coffee

Since I first came to Thailand and visited a little restaurant on Chaweng beach in Samui one weekend, I noticed they had this strange type of coffee pot for brewing, there were 5 of these little glass pots in a row for one cup each, I since learnt they were Coffee Siphons, after having tried coffee froma spihon where there is no filter paper in use, I must say it is a really good way to get the best flavour, fun to make your cup too.

I have only found a 5 cup Bodum Santos unit for sale here in Thailand and want something smaller like a 1 or 2 cup unit, has anyone seen these around?

I've bought many things from them and have never had a problem. I usually choose "free shipping" and normally China Post. You can track it all of the way but sometimes it's slow but it gets here.

Interesting stuff. I get my hit now with Electrolux maker, coffee I grind using a Krups grinder I brought over from USA. Currently sipping some Sumatran. How about a shameless plug for Benjamit Coffee place near Soi Bukow market? Delish ice coffees...

I have tried to get Sumatra Coffee but can't find it. Where are you buying it?

I use a DeLongi Espresso machine, Had a Krups that was self tamping but it just didn't do it for me.

I heat my own milk and grind beans I bring back from Jakarta.

I travel everywhere with a French press and coffee. Great coffee anywhere you can boil water.

I use this Italian equipment, same system but made from aluminium. Keeps about three cups of coffee, with fresh grounded beans it's delicious - if you can find the right coffee

Do you have a case? i once traveled with one and wrapped in up in a towel and just my luck, it broke.

I use an Aeropress when away from home. I travel a lot and find this a good way of getting decent coffee on the road

The question was, "How do you get your hit"? I roll over in the morning and said, "Bitch where's my coffee", then I GET MY HIT. After the HIT, I go make my coffee.
