90 day extension

Featured Replies

  1. I'm 6 days late due to illness,how much?

The overstay fine is 500 baht a day. Six days equal 3000 baht.

What kind of 90 day extension are you getting. They might refuse it for that long of an overstay.

Have retirement visa

I assume you have a multiple entry non-o visa. You can pay the fine on departure from the country and re-enter the country to get a new 90 day entry (it is not an extension) without a problem.

Edit: Or are you perhaps you are on an extension of stay and you are late for your 90 day report? The fine late reporting is 2000 baht. You are allowed to be 7 days late but that includes the report date in the count.

I have retirement visa

I have retirement visa

I did an edit of my previous post while you were trying to post after thinking of another possibility. Have you read it?

Do you have a visa from an embassy or a one year extension of stay from immigration?

There is no retirement visa.

We really need to know what you have.

Extension of stay or Non O Visa or Non O-A Visa?

Or are you asking about 90 day address report ?

90 day address report

I renewed my USA Passport and then had the Retirement Visa Extension moved a week before my 90 day report. Will I still need to do the 90 day or was the data from the Passport Visa move good as they require the address on the Visa transfer document??

90 day address report you have 7 days after to report.

After that the fine is 2000 Baht.

This is for Splodger

Moving your stamps has no effect on your 90 day report date.

You need to it on the report date you have now. You could of done it on the same date you had your stamps moved.

The words "retirement visa" are printed in your passport on a visa sticker??

I doubt it. I checked an old Non-Imm O-A visa I had and there's nothing there that says "retirement visa," just "Non-Imm O-A"

Or is it a hand stamp from Immigrations with the word "retirement" in a separate rectangular stamp? Like the one below.

As others have said, that would be an extension of stay based on retirement, not a visa and the 90 day issue is a report to immigrations that you have been in the country for 90 days and has nothing to do with extending or renewing your extension/permission to stay.

That is a reply to your OP where you were calling a 90 day report an extension. I was correct in my reply to that.

It is normally 2000 baht for late or not doing 90 day reports but it can be up to the max fine of 5000 baht.

He answered the question you asked. It's not his fault you didn't ask the right question.

Just a quick question.

Couple of years ago I had to fork out 2000 THB for reporting late on day no.9 (Chomtien), I also had to insist on a receipt.

However my question is:

If you have a multiple reentry permit and forgot the 90 days report lets say for 2-3 weeks, can you leave Thailand on a land border without paying the fine or will immigration at the border address this issue?

Immigration on departure from the country do not check for 90 day reports. It is not part of their job to do it.

But you might be caught for it the next time you went in to do a 90 day report.

Your wife does not need a house book for where you live. You just need a copy of the one she is registered in.

It will be two pages from it. The page with the address of the house and the page she is listed on.

You will need your marriage certificate and a copy. And a copy of her ID card as well as the house book.

Thanks ubonjoe a great post good luck to you

In everything you do

Regards len
