Popular Post Costas2008 Posted November 18, 2014 Popular Post Posted November 18, 2014 Disturbing report, but I'm not surprized having read a lot of slavery incidents before. Unfortunately, we don't appreciate what we have and how lucky we are the way we are living. There is a lot of suffering and distress out there, that most of the time goes over our heads and we only read and feel sorry about other human beings, exactly what I'm doing now. I regret, that I never before got an active part in this human suffering. But it's never too late................... 3
ezzra Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 We are all slaves to some degree. In a way, we're all some kind of slave to our own desires, fears and other emotions, checked or otherwise..... 1
lvr181 Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 OMG, that is terrible. But my mind boggles as to how/who counted that many? 1
elgordo38 Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 85 people control half the worlds wealth. 3.2 billion live in poverty which is one step away from slavery if not slavery. I am amazed that these people remain so docile.
ggt Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 If we use "debt bondage" as a gauge of slavery...they almost all humans are slaves...try avoiding paying property taxes...income taxes...and a whole host of other taxes...yes we are all slaves... The truly free...are the indigenous peoples living away from civilization...unencumbered by the vices of governments...
KhnomKhnom Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 Bogus report. No definitions. But, Red China is one huge slave labor camp.
