Tourist Visa for Thai Step Child - England

Featured Replies

Dear Forum,

Please could anyone advise me on how I can get the above for my step child. My wife is not a problem as she already has a British passport, however, I don't know how to go about a visa for my son?

He goes to school here and we live in Bangkok so we only require a 3 week holiday visa.

However, another concern of mine is the dual passport issue on leaving and entering Thailand so if can anyone explain how my wife can leave the country and re enter with her Thai and British passport that would be great. This will be the first time we have done this so I'd like to get it organised a couple of months before our travel date if possible.

Any help or advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,

Henry.

The duel passport issue has been covered many times. In and out of Thailand immigration use Thai passport. Enter UK on English passport.

Leaving the UK she shows her Thai passport to airline check in and then uses UK passport to go through security and immigration.

The airline check in at Bangkok necessitates she shows her UK passport.
