Something new to get around Bangkok a little faster...

Allan, that is an 'Auto Rickshaw' not 'Tuk Tuk'.

it is called tuk tuk in Thailand but this version from Bajaj so being Indian, it is called auto rickshaw:)

It's irrelevant how fast they can go as they still wouldn't get around Bangkok any faster.

Early in the morning the traffic moves pretty fast in BKK, I was on a really old bus and that was really shifting, you had to be pretty damn quick getting on and off, or you had your legs cut off with the pneumatic doors.

I recon this thing would save you a few minutes...I'd pay.

This guy has a couple of other things too......

I like it.

Of course, I am the guy who put a sportster engine in a snowmobile !

Sorry don't understand.... Squeezing a 600cc engine into a Tuk Tuk...

Lots in Thailand many with the Daihatsu 550, 660 and 850 cc engines. is there many left with the old 2 cylinder 350 cc ??

Did see an advert somewhere not long ago, workshop in Bangkok upgrading Tuk Tuks to the 650 cc Turbo engines
