The new Central west gate in Bang Yai there are 2 sois that come together one soi is off the ring road and the other is of of Rattan A Tibet , they join together in a V shape behind the new mall.

I have an office down one of theses soi's

This will or will not come to a shock to some I was amazed how many hair salons are on the two soi's

I counted 23 in total includes men hair cut places .

And I did not count how many are in the other back soi's in that project area ,

I can't understand I see some one else is now building / renovating to open another hair salon .

From what I see non are to busy.

My wife even thinks it is retarded to open another one

Believe it or not go there and count

Any one see other areas like this with so many of the same business ?

More recently, notice when someone enterprising opens a coffee shop on a soi, there's a rash of them after a few weeks. It is Thai business acumen at it's shiny brightest.

I was told by Thais that those business salons so many so must be good so open more is there approach to business , I often talk to Thais and say what not try something others have not done I get the blank look
