90 day report

Featured Replies

Hi all,

a few weeks ago my spouse successfully switched from the 60 day tourist to the accompanying person visa. The entrance stamp was on August 28th. The switch to the accompanying person visa happened on October 28th. I was under the impression that changing the type of visa does not reset the clock for the 90 day report. So on Friday my spouse went to file the 90 day report, got the queue ticket and upon arriving at the counter, was told that it was not necessary to do the report until January. I suppose this means that the clock for the 90 day report was reset. Has anyone else experienced this? I am just making absolutely sure that this indeed is the case.

Thanks

The first extension of stay is considered a 90 day report.
